About Dwayne

EXPERIENCE. PERSPECTIVE. REAL-WORLD INSIGHT.

Dwayne Castle is the founder of Buckeye Workforce Development and brings nearly 30 years of experience in leadership, workforce development, organizational communication, and customer experience.

His approach combines data, observation, and real-world insight to help self-reflective organizations better understand the human factors impacting culture, performance, retention, and customer experience in today’s workplace.

Early in his leadership journey, Dwayne recognized a pattern that would shape his professional philosophy for decades to come: many workplace challenges are symptoms of deeper organizational disconnects and cultural breakdowns rather than isolated employee issues.

Lasting improvement requires organizations to examine leadership practices, communication, accountability, workplace culture, and the day-to-day environments employees experience.

That realization sparked years of study, observation, and practical application focused on how organizations develop leaders, engage employees, strengthen workplace culture, and adapt to changing workforce expectations.

Today, he works with organizations and individuals who are willing to approach workforce development with honesty, reflection, and a commitment to meaningful growth.

His work centers on helping them better understand the relationship between leadership, culture, communication, employee engagement, morale, retention, and long-term organizational success.

Over the years, he has worked with organizations across a wide range of industries, helping leaders navigate workforce challenges through practical insight, real-world experience, and relationship-driven leadership strategies.

In addition to consulting and speaking, Dwayne is the author of The Relationally Driven Approach, a book exploring the principles of effective leadership, communication, and organizational engagement, and The Parents’ Guide to Workforce Readiness, a look at five indicators of whether or not your teen is ready for the workplace.

In 2023, he and his wife opened Ole Dog’s Coffee Culture, a specialty retail store in the beautiful Uptowne Galion business district.
